Skullcandy has just announced a first ever feature for its line of true wireless earbuds. As of today the company welcomes the newest sibling in its earphone family: the Skullcandy Indy ANC with (you guessed it) active noise cancelling.
Skullcandy Indy ANC
The Indy ANCs are the first true wireless Skullcandy earbuds with an active noise cancelling feature. It’s a feature Skullcandy users have been asking for, so the company decided to upgrade its most popular line. Just like the normal Indy, the Indy ANC is also outfitted with a personal sound option through the accompanying app. These two features together make for a rather interesitng listening experience that’s uniquely tailored to the user’s preferences.
To make the new earphones even more convenient Skullcandy rethought the fit. According to the company the buds should be more comfortable than its predecessor. Other features include a battery life in the buds of up to 19 hours, an ambient mode, and an IPX4 rating for the sweaty and clumsy ones among us. Each bud can be used separately and has full media controls to skip and play to your heart’s content. The earphones also feature the usual Tile-tracking tech to find them when they inevitably disappear at some point. And of course you get a handy charging case to beef up the battery time to 32 hours.
Indy ANC Pricing
The Skullcandy Indy ANC is available through the official website for 129.99 USD. At the moment there’s a discount though and you’ll “only” have to part with 99.99 USD. As for the colors: the Indy ANC should be available in True Black and Chill Grey. For the moment only the black version seems to be present in the American online shop. If you visit skullcandy.eu though you should also find the grey ones somewhere today.
Pretty in pink
If you’re more into pink we have some good news. Last year Skullcandy started the Mood Boost program to improve the mental wellbeing of millenials and Gen Z. Every year a different feel-good mood is boosted and as this year’s mood is “Feisty”, the Indy ANC will also be available in Feisty Pink come february.
And if you’re really serious about how your earbuds look Skullcandy has even more ” ear candy” up its sleeve. Late last year the company teamed up with fashion brand Collina Strada to give the Indy Evo and Crusher Evo a colorful makeover.
