Skullcandy’s headphones and wireless earphones are pretty stylish to start with, but of course things can always get even more fashionable. Recently the company joined forces with New York based fashion brand Collina Strada to give their Indy Evo earphones and Crusher Evo headphones a refreshing makeover.
Vibrant and colorful new look
Both the headphones and earbuds have been graciously splashed with colorful pastels to give them a vibrant new look. Of course the iconic skull is still present and is now accompanied by a Collina Strada scribble. The new colors give the products a playful vibe, which is something we could definitely all use this year.
It seems the collaboration was meant to be. Skullcandy explains that “Collina Strada is not only one of today’s most leading-edge fashion brands, but it’s also a platform for social issues and awareness”. The earphone company states that it couldn’t be more proud to partner with “a brand that boldly transcends trends and exhibits such a fearless attitude”. For Hillary Taymour of Collina Strada the partnership was a no brainer. She explains how Skullcandy’s contribution to things like Protect Our Winters show how the company is dedicated to the climate change issue. And because Skullcandy gives an energetic twist to everyday products, it was a perfect match for the unique Collina look.
Skullcandy Crusher Evo
If you’re not familiar with the Skullcandy Crusher Evo, here’s a small crash course. The headphones are known as the king of bass as they’re especially designed for bass lover and, more importantly, also deliver. They offer listeners a battery life of 40 hours and come with a quick charge feature. They’re also outfitted with Tile finding technology, which means you can use the Tile app to ring them if they get lost. Check out our review of the headphones to find out more:
Skullcandy Indy Evo
The Skullcandy Indy Evo are true wireless earbuds that offer quality audio to enjoy your everyday tunes. They’re also outfitted with the same Tile finding technology the Crusher Evo has to offer and that’s especially handy with earphones. With the buds you get a total of 30 hours of listening time and a rapid charging feature. You can use either bud solo and luckily the earphones are sweat, water and dust resistant. The specs of the Indy Evo seem pretty similar to those of the Skullcandy Sesh Evo, but there are definitely differences. Find out what those are in the video below. One difference of course is that the Sesh Evo doesn’t have the playful new Strada look.
If you want to get your hands on the brand new Crusher Evo and Indy Evo you’ll have to act fast. The new designs are a limited edition collection so you never know how long they’ll be available. The prices are the same though compared to the original products: 79.99 USD for the Collina Strada Indy Evo and 199.99 USD for the colorful Crusher Evo.
