Not too long ago Skullcandy gave its Indy earbuds an active noise cancelling upgrade and now it’s time for the Hesh headphones to get the same treatment. The audio company recently launched the all new Skullcandy Hesh ANC and Hesh Evo.
Hesh with Bluetooth
Both new editions add Bluetooth connectivity to the good old Hesh headphones. They also come with the Tile-finding technology found in the other Skullcandy earphones. That means you could use the accompanying app to locate the headphones if you misplace them. They also sport a flat-folding design to minimize their 3D footprint and make them easier to drop in a bag.
Skullcandy Hesh ANC
Out of the two the Skullcandy Hesh ANC is the more featured packed option. The over the ear headphones were made to last and have a battery life of 22 hours. Of course even 22 hours pass and when that happens the Rapid Charge feature makes sure you get 3 hours back in exchange for 10 minutes of charging. Apart from the active noise cancelling option, that drowns out annoying sounds, you also have your Ambient Mode to actually hear what’s happening around you.
Skullcandy Hesh Evo
The Hesh Evo doesn’t doesn’t come with active noise cancelling. Skullcandy describes the headphones as being perfect for a simple but ultimate listening experience. Battery wise you’re looking at 36 hours of listening time and the same Rapid Charge feature as the Hesh ANC.
Both headphones are available through the Skullcandy website. The Hesh ANC has a price tag of 129.99 USD, while the Hesh Evo will cost you 99.99 USD.
