Although many Pride parades have been cancelled this year due to the corona-virus, that doesn’t mean the world has forgotten about Pride month. Apple for example just launched two fab new Apple Watch bands to celebrate the LGBTQ community.
Apple Watch meets rainbows
The two new Apple Watch accessories are the Pride Edition Sport band and the Pride Edition Nike Sport Band. The first of which is very similar to the rainbow band Apple launched back in 2016. That being said the new band does look a bit sleeker.

First Nike-Apple Pride band
The second band incorporates the Pride colors in a more subtle way, using them as accents inside compression-molded perforations. It’s also the first Pride-themed Apple Watch band to come out of the collaboration with Nike.

Both colorful bands are available in Apple’s physical stores, in the Apple Store app and on Apple’s website for 49 dollars. And with watchOS 6.2.5 the iPhone company also launched matching watch faces.
Apple let’s customers on its website know that the company is proud to support LGBTQ advocacy organizations that work to bring about positive change. Such organizations include Encircle, Gender Spectrum, GLSEDPFLAG, SMYAL, The National Center for Transgender Equality, The Trevor Project in the U.S., and ILGA World internationally.
