We all know a good night’s sleep is essential for our performance the next day, not to mention for our health and skin. But even with that knowledge it can be a daunting task to actually get in enough hours. The QuietOn 3 earbuds promise to finally give us some peace and quiet by eliminating disturbing noises with active noise cancelling tech.

World’s smallest ANC device

According to its makers the QuietOn 3 is the world’s smallest ANC device. To achieve utter silence the earbuds sample the noise coming to your ear and battle it with opposing soundwaves. That means chatty people, snoring and other sounds that keep you up shouldn’t be a problem anymore. Now of course plugging things into your ears isn’t a new solution. But compared to your normal foam earplugs, the ANC earbuds do bring some extra quieting powers to the table. Just check out the graph below.

No setup needed

The earbuds are accompanied by a charging case, that automatically gets to boosting the energy levels when you put the buds back in. And when it’s time for bed the QuietOne 3 is ready to go as soon as you take it out of the charging box. No need to press any buttons or select any settings. The battery should be good for 28 hours of undisturbed sleep, so that should easily get you through the night. Don’t oversleep though 😉 As opposed to other sleeping aids the device doesn’t offer ambient sounds, as the company feels they might actually be a source of disturbance themselves.

At the moment the QuietOn 3 ANC earbuds are an Indiegogo project. You can pre-order them for 159 euro’s, which is about 193 USD at the moment. There’s also a pack with three extra eartips for around 18 USD. As usual we recommend being careful with crowdfunding projects.

Another device that could help you fall asleep more easily is the Somnox breathing robot. It doesn’t tackle pesky noises, but instead guides you towards slow and deep breathing technques, which should also help.
