As more and more companies have shifted from brick and mortar stores to virtual environments, Lancôme has recently launched a virtual flagship. The flagship allows beauty lovers to immerse themselves in a futuristic looking Lancôme world, with live streams, skin advice and more.
Roam the halls of Lancôme
Once visitors enter Lancôme’s virtual flagship, they’re created by a brand ambassador to guide them through the experience. You have your usual hamburger menu to navigate the store. But to make the experience more immersive, it’s also possible to go for arrows on the floor to roam the hallways.
As you wander you’ll notice different things to stop at. If you want to know more about your skin, you could try out the skin analysis tool. An AI will get working to help you find the right skincare regimen. You could also have a look at the microbiome wall. What’s that? It’s basically a wall with videos that explain how Lancôme’s Advanced Génifique serum is inspired by microbiome science and why it’s brilliant for your skin.
Live streams & exclusive offers
Then there’s the live section to virtually connect with different guest speakers on topics such as skin health, beauty trends and innovation in the beauty tech industry. For more interactivity there’s a small game to get your hands on a bonus product. As the flagship revolves around Lancôme’s Advanced Génifique serum there are also special offers to be had to keep your skin plump and radiant.

Last year Gucci also launched a virtual experience amidst the pandemic. With it shoppers are able to virtually explore a Gucci shop, while a real life assistant adds to the in-store experience.
